어제 보자 (SEE YOU YESTERDAY) – KNCDC (Korea National Contemporary Dance Company) ‹어제 보자› 국립현대무용단 / Korea National Contemporary Dance Company 끝_레지던시: 안무가 초청 프로젝트 2015년 3월 27일(금) – 29일(일) 평일 저녁 8시 / 주말 오후 5시 우리는 언제나 상대로부터 ‘분명한 표현’, ‘확실한 이해’, ‘틀림없는기준’을 구사하도록 요구받는다. 하지만 무언가를 분명하게, 확실하게,틀림없이 움켜쥐었다고 생각하는 순간, 정작 중요한 것은 이전엔 미쳐있는 줄도 몰랐던 틈새로 빠져나가기 마련이다. 삶의 비밀은 거기에숨겨져 있는 것이다. 따라서 우리의 시선은 ‘틈 사이’를 향한다. 저분명하다고 믿어 의심치 않아 왔던 영역들의 틈새에는 무엇이 있을까?‹17cm›, ‹어제 보자›는 견고한 영역이 내장한 균열을 발견하고, 그틈새로 흘러들어온 낯선 세계를 탐구한다. 경계 지대에서 발생하는모든 변환과 전환, 변이의 트랜스 현상은 가치의 전도와 관점의 변화를일으킬 것이다. 안무 임지애 출연 강진안, 장홍석, 최민선 드라마투르기 성기웅 조명 류백희 사운드 정진화 보이스코치 최정선 의상 임선열 ‹어제 보자›는 언어와 몸(움직임)의 유기적 관계를 재설정함으로써의미(혹은 의미의 재현)에 관한 관습적 사고를 되묻는다. ‘우리는언어에 갇혀 살고 있지 않나?’라는 의문, ‘몸과 말, 그리고 의식은 서로어떻게 작동하는가’ 하는 질문에서 출발한 이 작업은 텍스트, 움직임,상황을 분리하고 재배치함으로써 언어의 지시적, 재현적 속성 너머의것을 탐색한다. 임지애의 ‹어제 보자›는 언어를 신체 기관과 호흡에의해 형성되는 것, 즉 몸의 확장으로 간주한다. 그리고 유기적이었던그 관계로부터 말의 발화와 몸의 움직임이 엇나가고 때론 서로 방해적요소로 작용할 때 일어나는 마찰, 혹은 그때 열리는 틈새 사이에서생겨나는 이질성과 의도된 불규칙성 안에 몸과 언어를 재위치시킨다.  -임지애- 한국 전통 무용에 기반을 두면서 전통의 개념들을 동시대적 감각으로풀어내는 작업을 지속하고 있는 임지애는 베를린Solo/Dance/Authorship(SODA) 안무 학교에서 석사과정을 마치고유럽과 일본, 한국을 중심으로 활발하게 활동하고 있다. 그녀의솔로‹생소한 몸(Raw Material)›은 한국, 독일, 불가리아, 벨기에 등유수의 페스티벌에 초청되었으며, ‹New Monster›는 한국과 독일에서선보여 많은 관심을 불러 일으켰다.
